Backpacking in the Sipsey Wilderness - October 2002

Venture Crew five's goal is to help build well-rounded leaders of the future. Our focus is in three areas:

  1. Have Fun - It is our strong belief that venture scouting should be fun. Approximately one third of our programming is focused on activities that's primary focus is to have fun.
  2. Service to others - Equally strong is our belief that one's duty to God and personal growth is dependent upon a strong commitment in service to others. Approximately one third of our programming is designed to allow members of venture crew five to serve others.
  3. Learning about the world - The final third of our program focuses on activities designed to help the members of venture crew five to grow in knowledge of the world.
Our calendar of activites is below. If you are a young man or woman between the ages of 14 and 20, come and visit one of our meetings. You can be part of this fun and meaningful team of friends and peers.
