We are committed to offering enriching experiences in ministry, which emphasize training and nurturing of the individual. The Music Ministry Reaches Up, in worship, and Reaches Out in Christian love, to all who come seeking a deeper relationship with Christ.

Molly Hill is the new leader for the Cherub Choir (4 and 5 year olds). Molly is a music major at the University of Montevallo. Her hometown is Gadsden, Alabama. She plans to use the "Play and Praise" curriculum, which involves lots of movement and rhythm activities. Choir begins at 6:00 pm on August 29 in the second grade classroom.

Holley Dykes is new leader for the 1-2 grade choir. Holley is a substitute teacher in the Shelby Co. School system and also leads the handbell choir at Christ Church. Holley plans to use the "Made for Praise" curriculum and a children's Christmas musical. Choir begins at 6:00 pm on August 29 and meets in the Children's choir room in the music suite.

Cheryl Ramsey is the leader for the 3 - 5 grade choir. Cheryl is a music teacher at Oak Mt. Elementary School. Cheryl also serves as pianist for Christ Church. Cheryl plans to use various choral anthems and a children's Christmas musical. The older children will begin August 29 at 6:00 pm in the large choir room in the music suite.

Adam Wright is the Youth music worship leader for Sunday evening Youth Worship Service. Adam teaches guitar and has a band, "Act of Congress." Adam works with senior high youth in developing the Praise Team/Praise Band for this service. Youth musicians meet Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm in the Youth Theatre.
